Kerry with Brokaw

Beldar has an entry that includes General Franks on the stump yesterday with Bush. Further on, it deals with Brokaw interviewing Kerry yesterday on the Al Qaaqaa issue. While redundant at this point, I had to snip two comments.

Brokaw: Someone has analyzed the President's military aptitude tests and yours, and concluded that he has a higher IQ than you do. Kerry: That's great. More power. I don't know how they've done it, because my record is not public. So I don't know where you're getting that from.

Um, shouldn't Brokaw have reminded the Senator that he has insisted his record IS public? I'm so disgusted with our media allowing Kerry to heap blatant lie upon blatant lie, but someone has to point them out. We've seen this before with Carter and Clinton. The press facilitates the election of an obviously flawed democrat and two years later they are fuming because of the very same flaws they chose to gloss over in his campaign. There should be no doubt as to Kerry's unsuitability for the Presidency. He will lie and manipulate on a scale as large as Clinton at a time when the country will not tolerate it because of our national security concerns.

One other item: when Brokaw questions Kerry as to a lack of clarity or resolve on removing Saddam, we get, as Kerry likes to say, "more of the same."

Kerry: But that's what you have inspectors for. And that's why I voted for the threat of force. Because he only does things when you have a legitimate threat of force. It's absolutely impossible and irresponsible to suggest that if I were president, he wouldn't necessarily be gone. He might be gone.

This is precisely what we could expect from a (leader) like Kerry - "might, maybe, well, we don't know that, etc") His inability to make a declarative statement about anything is only one issue. His record also supports the conclusion that he is unable to adopt and maintain an unequivocal, consistent position on anything. In times such as we live, the is absolutely the last quality we can afford in a CIC. This man is a pathertic failure before he gets the job and the press refuses to point that out for the people who still get the bulk of their news from Brokaw and his ilk.
