Map 1
Updated 12:48 AM - U. S. forces are portrayed in blue - the "crossed-rifles" and oval within the graphic denote infantry and mechanized, respectively. The three lines above the graphic denote a regimental strength force. Red diamonds are enemy forces, infantry, and remain as of now, not precisely pinpointed, or numbered. As additional forces and or elements are known they will be added as appropriate.

A suggestion:
Great map and I appreciate your efforts, but a map legend would be nice. Other than the Icons specifically identified on the map, I'm not sure for what the others implicate.
Just a suggestion mind you.

Thank you for the suggestion, you're right. I've added some info and will update as possible. Thanks, again. - Dan

Dan: I am probably getting too picky here. BUT, you may wish to do the following.
1.) Put a date/time stamp on the photo. Specify local, EST or GMT(prefered)
2.) Can you identify each battalion/regiment as US Army, US Marine Corps, Iraqi National Guard
3.) There are units outside the city providing perimeter security. If you have some detail of the news reports and positioning, you may want to list.
4.) It would be appropriate to list the enemy forces as "light infantry."
Note; I realize that you posted, you would update when data is available. My notes are simply in case you did not think of them.
The map idea is GREAT. I have been trying to follow the events of Fallujah.

Typographical tip: dark blue on a black background is almost impossible to read. Thanks for keeping us informed about Fallujah. Good job.
