Gathered at 8:30 PM EST - Many unit locations unreported. Pattern of movements, past and present fighting, etc. suggests some units moved quickly south (Army Cav) - possibly more creating sectors where enemy forces can be isolated and crushed. Recent reports of "fighting in rear" support that analysis. If so, it is not "fighting in rear" but going according to plan. I would guess some units dashed south outside of town, also - creating vise-like force. Movements are likely based upon a cutting up of terrain to our advantage. Enemy could then be flushed from zones into kill areas.

NOTE: There is nothing being reported here that isn't on the wires and guesses do not suggest some knowledge of the ground situation. Reports suggest enemy disorganized, fighting in small groups. They will do damage, but comparatively little compared to their soon certain death, or capture. Seventy-one virgins can become decidedly less appealing when you have a gun pointing at you.
